Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn & Suites Mariner

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nice continental breakfast..
Dated.. Climate control unit was noisy, and despite the setting, cut off and constantly.. Took two controls to operate the TV. Bathroom was tiny, sink was outside the bathroom.

Nice staff. Hotel is right on the beach. Ocean front rooms had great views.
Noise may be an issue for some.

The staff at this hotel are super friendly. Very clean and well kept hotel, although furniture is a little dated. Right on the beach for a great price. If you are a light sleeper, noise may be a factor. People congregate in the parking lot/ pool/ picnic area and can be heard from the room. However, for the price and location I couldn't complain. Plan to book here again in a couple months. ...read more

Room stunk

Old hotel old set up. nice breakfast. excellent staff that moved us to another room, thankfully. You get what you pay for so don't go cheap.

The room was cute although it was kind of small for 2 double beds. We were next to the balcony with lots of seating so that you could see the ocean and the sunset, which was nice. The location is great. The breakfast was good too.

We had a great time at the Days Inn at Kill Devil Hills. Very nice location and has all the amenities we needed. The internet worked great and I appreciated that there was a microwave, minifridge and coffee maker in the room. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. Overall great stay. Definitely worth the price.

cleanliness, staff, complimentary breakfast
no privacy balcony. no where to sit outside room and view ocean, no chairs outside if not in an efficiency unit. could hear people and tv in next room, had to keep tv sound on so they could not hear us, which is probably what they were doing also.

The location was great. Beach access was easy to utilize.
There is no were near enough counter space in the standard room and there was only one ice maker to service the entire hotel

the location - being that it was in the Outer Banks and right on the beach - was nice.
the breakfast (quality) - as well as the area for the breakfast (too cramped) - were not all that good. i do not have high expectations for these sort of things, but it just was not good.

The location of this hotel (ocean front), as well as the amenities (pool), are really all it has going for it. the cost for one room for one night was definitely not worth it. Being that it is part of a larger chain, I was expecting a little more quality. I would not stay there again.

It was recently remodeled and had updated amenities. They actually had a decent breakfast too, unlike other hotels with only cold breakfast.
The location was way too confusing, should of posted up a bigger sign in the front yard.

The hotel was actually decent, the amenities were updated and the room had been remodeled. Comes with a nice pool in the courtyard and is the standard outdoor hotel doors facing the parking lot. Not a bad price or deal if you stay here.
