Overall lived up to expectations. Perfect location for participation in the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza. Room was clean. A bit noisy on Friday night with lots of fisherman gearing up for Saturday's festivities. Also had a bit of an issue getting the door to close/lock but managed to fix it ourselves with a screwdriver.

It was a little out of the way for our Brainerd activities. It was clean and odor free. Easy to get to off the highway.

This hotel needs a makeover. The lady at the front counter was absolutely glistening with sweat. It was very unappealing. The hotel is in an area where there are a lot of businesses closed around it. The Wendy's across the street was the best thing about staying there. The breakfast was very disappointing again the warm milk on cereal was not appetizing at all. They were out of eggs, and bread for toast. We will not stay there again or recommend to anyone to stay there. One star is generous. ...

Very noisy people in the next room; especially at 2:00 in the morning, yelling and banging on doors. The office person did not ask location we would prefer being assigned to. She gave us a second floor room without suggesting we get a main floor room. I have stayed at this motel before and thought it was a nice place. I do not know what happened in the last year or two - maybe different owners? The south side of the building needs painting really bad. The parking lot had a lot of rocks and sand on it. Obviously, there is not much maintenance being done there. Shower head clogged, entrance door rubber protective bumper on wall is rotten and needs to be replaced. The carpeting was not vacuumed under the furniture and in corners of the room. The bathroom door protective metal bumper spring does not have a rubber tip on the end. The whole place seemed to be not cared for very much. Is there a morale problem with the personnel working there? I think their room prices should be lowered due to their sloppy operation. This used to be a fairly decent place, but definitely has gone "down hill" in the last couple of years!!! I normally do not complain about motels, but this one currently belongs at the bottom in the ratings. It felt like a very marginal motel, at best! We did not even eat breakfast there. We were really happy to leave. Thanks for letting me vent; it feels like it is the right thing to do. ...
