Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Monticello

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Is close to a great Catholic Church (St. Henry's)! Bed was comfy. Didn't have to walk far to get to the room. Layout of the room was good. Liked the vanity outside of the shower and toilet.
Shower head was too low for average size . Breakfast hours too short (ended at 9). Air conditioner wouldn't shut off. Should double the number of pillows on the beds - two per person just looks nicer. Couldn't find the Kleenex till we were leaving.

Close to where I needed to be.
Staff was not really around. Booked a "Smoking" room and was told when we arrived that they do not offer smoking rooms. The bathroom was dirty, the rest of the room was OK. As for their continental breakfast left something to be desired.

Breakfast was good - normal cold bar plus oatmeal. Personal nice upon check in. Bathroom/room clean.
TV - (3) channels and very bad reception. Mainly just older building but it was friendly reception and clean room.

No bed bugs. The bathroom was clean. There was a dirty towel back behind the credenza, so I wonder how well the rest of the room gets cleaned normally.
Staff? Where? They were available by phone but not the front desk. Breakfast? A loaf of bread, a prepackaged muffin, milk, coffee, juice, and two cereals. That is everything. Not even tea bags were there. Air conditioning did not cool the room.

If you want very basic, it is okay. Some of the exterior doors did not close properly. The breakfast was not even worth walking down the hall for. The staff were non-existent. If you don't need any of that, then it is okay.

In the right town
Indicated in room coffee but no pot provided. The room lock really did not work, needed replacement. It locked but opening with the key required several tries and needed to be inserted then pushed up. Not even cool in a "budget operation".

Desk clerk ran upstairs and opened the door took two tries before explaining the key trick.

Nothing
The sheets and pillows were yellow, either bleach them or get new ones, very outdated, needed new blanket... Need upgrades on towels. The mini fridge wobbled. The AC unit was stuck on one settings so you couldn't change it. The breakfast wasn't bad

Not worth--- dollars a night. This hotel should be a motel and worth 25-50 a night max, bad service. The highway was under construction but no call or email saying directions to get there had to spend an extra 20-24 miles driving because of detour. Needs updating, cleaning and etc. not worth anyone's time
