Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Fort Worth-Stockyards

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

NOTHING
The entire hotel smelled of smoke, people were fighting all night long, beating on door (beating on each other), could not sleep because we felt unsafe. Sheets were stained and had holes in them. Showere was IN the bedroom, not a seperate room.

Customer service was the absolute worst ever. It felt like anytime or anything that I asked the lady at the front desk, it was an inconvenience to her.

Fairly cheap, not too far from downtown.
Very loud, a lot of fighting and drunk people. Next to a bar/liquor store.

Free breakfast of Danishes, cereal or waffles. Pretty dirty on the outside. Smells strongly of smoke and is outdated. However, it is fairly cheap.

The friendly, warm staff and the location; it really is just a 10-min. drive to the Stockyards down 1 quiet street, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. Perfect locale for a night on the town!
Nothing stands out; exactly what I expected for the price...

The hotel was in a good spot for my travel.
The bottom line is this I had a prepaid room which I thought was for 2 queen beds. I had a prpaid reservation so whn I got to the hotel the lady told me it was 1 king bed. She then made me pay for a nightly rate for 2 queen beds. This is a rip off.....

The hotel was nice enough but the staff was rude and when I went to talk to the manager about what happened that I was basically charged for 2 rooms and only got one. She said that is the way we do it here sorry. Needless to say I am turing them in to the Consumer Services & Better Business Bereau because I was charged double, once from Priceline which was prepaid & once from the hotel. I dont intend to let anyone get by with that type of treatment and think that it is ok. I work in the Hospitality service also and we never treat our guests that way. I could understand if there was an upgrade charge but to charge double rate is highway robbery and they wont get by with it for long. ...read more

let's just say you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay more just to feel more secure
Yes, I didn't know that the security door that is supposed to be locked at all times was open all the time, and that you could open my and several other doors with the tip of any key or similar item.

I mentioned my concern about the room being opened with the tip of any key to the manager. he did not seemed concerned at all. I would NOT recommend this motel even if it was free. I had to take my electronic items and leave them in the car while I was visiting the area. they were more secure in there than in the motel

I did not like this hotel. The price was great, too good to be true.
The staff was rude, the building is run down and in need of repairs and updating.

I was traveling with my daughter, and did not feel safe at this hotel. It is not well kept, though I didn't find the rooms to be really dirty or anything like that. The building does not look well kept, and the breakfast was mediocre at best. When I called needing towels, the ones they brought me were wet. I will not stay here again, regardless of the price.

The bed, having a working (sort of) refrigerator and having a little open space.

This hotel was not well maintained, did not provide the breakfast we were told about on the phone (no fruit, no waffles, just two cereals with the milk container left out on the counter to get warm), and did not have working Internet service. Although they said the Internet would be fixed in the morning, we were there for 5 nights and it never worked in our room. They told us different stories about why it didn't work. We had to ask for a second washcloth, and one time they forgot to bring a bathmat. They did not refill the empty Kleenex container, and it was clear that they never changed the sheets. The refrigerator barely worked. The baseboards had become detached from the bathroom floor/wall intersection, leaving holes. Water leaked constantly from the shower and could not be turned off. We would definitely not stay there again. ...read more
