Hotel Guest Reviews of the Cork Factory Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Had character and coziness in the dining area and lobby.
I was in a new room. The new rooms do not have a safety box or refrigerator as stated in the description but they immediately sent the maintenance man over with a fridge when I called the lobby. Had to leave laptop at front desk when we left room.

The temp in the room was chilly and had to regulate which I assume was because of the high ceilings. There was a strange odor to the hotel which could have been because of the history of the buildings.

The hotel is very charming with the exposed brick walls and beams. The continental breakfast had a good choice of fruit, pastries and cereal. The lobby is inviting with a fireplace and lots of seating.

Loved the architecture. Definitely better than staying at a chain hotel for business trips. I may never stay at another cookie cutter again. The staff were also amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. Hotel employee and all the others were amazing. Food? 5

Décor, clean, pretty architecture, and front desk staff (very helpful, friendly and professional)
The room we had (212) had creaky floor boards above us and little sound proofing. Could hear the people above us every time they walked across the floor, and their loud laughing at 1:30-3:00 a.m. woke us up. Same at 6:00 a.m.

The front desk staff were more than helpful and responsive to the problem the next morning. Very friendly and professional.

The rustic theme with exposed brick etcetera. The waitress/bar tender was great as well.
The toilet kept running and there was no maintenance person on site to handle what should have been minor issue but annoyed me throughout the stay.

Room had great charm: original ceiling beams, high windows w/ a lot of natural light. Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast (included) had wide and varied selection, everything was delicious and fresh.
Some dust and dirt behind the bed when arriving.

The ambiance of the building was amazing!
Don't count on the "free breakfast" to be substantial - it included cereal and fruit. All of the bagels and breads were gone by the time I got there, and weren't refilled.

It was a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Lancaster is a beautiful location with plenty to do.

If you want a hotel room with character this is a great place with Exposed brick walls and beamed ceilings.
Sound carried easily from room to room and housekeeping staff starts early (was there on a weekend).
