Hotel Guest Reviews of the Constitution Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Check in and out was painless and location isnt bad
Hotel was dirty cable wire went into hole in wall

Check in was quickest I've ever had. Elevator was a little disgusting was very dirty and run down. Staff was OK they weren't really friendly but they were very helpful with any think i asked including directions also let us know about a free shuttle to the td garden shuttle was a bit sketchy tho would have rather walk or take taxi. Room was very big but for some reason in the shower the hot water was cold and cold water was hot also where the cable wire would go into wall Jack the face plate was half off leaving hole in wall and wire went in the hole. Walls were cinder blocks So you can here the people in rooms next to you very clearly. toilet barely worked had a maintenence guy unclog it said it was all set went into bathroom few hours later and was still clogged. To make things worse was over charged--- hotel said that was the rate i was giving and it wasn't and thankful priceline/booking.com got that fixed for me they were extremely helpful and contacted hotel to fix the issue. But overall is rather not stay there again rather spend the extra $50 or so and stay at doubletree ...read more

NOTHING -- AWFUL
We showed up to the hotel, and they told us they could not accommodate us! Apparently they new about this for a few days and didn't even bother to contact and let us know so we could make other plans.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Poor customer service. The place looked pretty strange. AVOID!

The location was fairly nice in that it was near the water in the old Navy Ship Yard and the ferry into Boston was a close walk. The Bistro restaurant was great!
Yes, almost everything. It was dirty, smelling, dark and poor repair. The A/C did not work and there were hairs on all the towels and linens. If I had any other option I would not have stayed but everything in Boston was booked up.

Bad, Bad, Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was reasonably priced thanks to Priceline.
I wasn't happy with the stay at all! The windows were open when we first walked into the room with no screens. I had my young son with me so we had to close them. It would have been nice to have the air on for our arrival.

Our room had cooking odors from the kitchen. Smelled very much like Chicken noodle soup all day. No continental breakfast. No amenities in the room such as plates, cups, forks, spoon, etc... The coffee cups that were there were unwrapped. They should inform the guest that the parking ramp is locked as of 10 pm but you can ask the security guard to open the lot up to get your car. We had requested more towels and they were never brought to our room. My husband had to walk down to the maid cart to get them. The area directions were unclear from the staff. They suggested public transportation instead of helping with driving directions. Even the instructions they did give us were very unclear. Couldn't use the pool because the YMCA had a class in session. Child was very unhappy. He had been looking forward to swimming all day. ...read more

Safe place to be during the blizzard
The first night in the room the sprinkler head started dripping all over the bathroom floor. I called the front desk and was told they knew it was leaking and there was nothing they could do about it. They could give us some extra towles to clean up.

The sprinkler head leaked, there was no regular window in the room just a sky light, the light switch to the bathroom made noises like it was going to short out and I was afraid to touch it because I thought I would be shocked, and the road to the hotel was still not plowed when we left Sunday at 11am from the blizzard on Friday/Saturday. We had to walk our bags through the snow on the side walk to the end of the road to go home. They cleared out The snow in front of the door the rest of the sidewalk was snow and slush and our bags had to be rolled through all Tue snow mess. ...read more
