Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Suites La Grange

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I liked everything. The room was really handy with a little refrigerator, microwave and a sink.
I can not think of one bad thing to say.

We arrived prior to the regular check in time. This was not an issue and the front desk person was really nice. Our room was perfect with a king size bed and a sofa. The refrigerator, microwave and sink were really a nice bonus. We needed to leave prior to 6:30 in the morning. The breakfast starts at this time. However, many of the items were already available. We were able to enjoy a banana and bagel before my husband went to run in the Pure Tap 5K. The hotel seemed a lot cleaner than the last time we stayed. They have added some food items that can be purchased at the front desk. I think this is a really nice service. My son lives close and we had started to stay at the Holiday Inn in La Grange. Now, we will return to the Comfort Suites. ...read more

Hotel was clean, quiet, and the breakfast was nice.

Nice place to stay. The only reason I gave the staff average marks was because after check-in, I never saw them. They could have been back in an office, but I never saw anyone behind the desk for the 3 days I stayed there. I was there for a business conference and I enjoyed the stay. The price is a little outside the GSA per-diem range, but I would not have stayed at the other hotels within the per-diem range. ...read more

Hotel was modern and appeared well kept.
There is not enough insulation in walls, the noise from other rooms was very bad. It made getting to sleep and staying asleep difficult. Desk clerk was not very helpful or engaging.

While the appearance of the hotel was quite nice, it was loud and seemed to be the favorite place to stay for construction workers in the area. I am a smoker so I was unpleased that the hotel was not smoker friendly. There is not enough noise suppresion in the rooms so, TV, music, talking, alarm clocks, hallway noise were as if they were in the room with you. I would not be likely to stay at this hotel again. As my payment was non-refundable I could not change to somewhere I would have been happier with. ...read more

Not really anything to like about this hotel, below averager
The door to the room had obviously been attacked by someone with a crow bar or large screwdriver. The wood around the locking mechanism was completely pried away. To feel secure during the night, I placed a chair against the inside door handle.

This hotel served our purpose as it was close to the soccer tournament. Overall pretty poor excuse for a hotel. The color scheme was dreary and drab, browns, oranges. Frankly it matched what one would find in a baby's diaper after a meal of carrots. The other families in our group had made early reservations for a hotel near the airport. While travel time was much greater,it was very upscale and cheaper than this hotel. ...read more

Convenient location.
The bathtub stopper did not work. Also, I was charged for the room in addition to being charged by Priceline. I am still waiting a final disposition from Priceline on this issue, but paying
XXX for a
XXX room is NOT making me happy!!

Nothing
Mold, dirty facility & pool. Work on walls in food area. Rooms dirty. If I had known conditions.

If I had known conditions I wouldn't have booked there and I couldn't get out of deal without losing my money. As a result I chose to book with the courtyard for the rest of my vacation.

Convenient location.
Room was not clean.

This hotel is right off of the expressway, which is great for travelers. However, our room was very dirty. It had not been vacuumed or dusted. The sheets were clean, but badly stained, and the air quality in the room was very poor. Also, cold cereal was not an option for breakfast.
