Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn & Suites Tualatin - Portland South

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Nice and quiet. Ample parking. The free breakfast was good enough for me. The mattress was firm. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi.
I had a nice stay but it was a bit too expensive in my opinion.

Front desk people were great. Everything worked in the room and all the supplies I needed were there.
There was some pretty bad dirt in the corners, especially in the bathroom.

The Elevator was dirty. It looked like it hadn't even been swept out in a week. I felt like the whole place needed a good cleaning. The bed was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BEN I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON.

Location was the reason we chose it. We were visiting family and it was a very handy location. Major grocery store and other amenities nearby. The room was adequate.
Got in fairly late and there was no one at the desk. Dialed the phone number as the sign indicated to no avail. Just rang the phone at the desk. Someone came after 10 minutes. Ice on first floor only. I was on the third. Bother.

Really liked the location of this property...Easy access to the I-5 and a 20-30 minute drive to PDX, depending on the traffic...Within walking distance there is a Fred Meyer SuperMarket/Dept. Store, Shari's Restaurant and a Subway...
Limited equipment in the Fitness room, at the time of our stay 1 of the 3 equipment was Out of Order. Staff could be a little more friendlier and not always seem to be busy on there computer when you walk by...it only takes about 5 seconds to say Hi...

When:3 nights July 3-6, 2015, 2 Adults Where: Room 322, facing the parking lot & Fred Meyer Store Pros: Location, Numerous Restaurants & Shops nearby, Clean Functional Rooms Cons: Room Decor a bit outdated, inadequate Fitness Center, Staff could be a little more friendlier What I really like about this property is its easy on/off access to the I-5. There are a ton of dining & shopping options within walking and short driving distance. Our room, #322, was a 2 queen bedded room that was very clean and functional. It faced the hotel parking lot and wooded area, looking toward the Fred Meyer Store. As a 2 1/2 star rated property, this property definitely fits that bill and your expections should not be any higher as well. In my opinion, I really think the staff could make this property even better. By all means, my check-in and check-out process was smooth and that's it. Throughout the day when your walking by, no matter what time of day, they always seem to be focused on their computer monitor...it wouldn't hurt to pause 5 seconds, look up and acknowledge the person walking by... I would recommend this property for its location and value. However,if your expections and needs are a little higher, you may want to look into the Century Hotel nearby or the Grand Hotel, near the Bridgeport Village Shopping Complex. ...read more

the room and air conditioning was pretty quiet.
window was blocked from opening any more than 1 inch. And the bathroom door would not stay open on its own.
