Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn Dodge City

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Clean room, excellent staff.
Too expensive. But I guess because Dodge is an overrated tourist trap.

Room was very nice, very clean, and quiet. There is a nice Mexican restaurant across the street.
Parking for a car would be very good. We had a car but it was towed behind a moving truck which made parking more of a problem. Once you pull into the lot you will need to turn around. If there are other cars present, good luck!

This was one of the nicer rooms on our trip which is to be expected since it was easily the most expensive. I think it ranks higher than the 2 stars priceline gives. Pet area was quite satisfactory. If I remember right pet charge is a bit higher than most others. They said it was a $30 charge but were reducing it to $15 for some reason. Check it out before you reserve the room so you don't get surprised later. ...read more

Comfortable bed
Fran, working for USA Masonry, left clothing in the room. Forgetting that he left the clothing until after work he returned to get them. Instead of moving the clothing to a safe area, the Manager left the clothing in the room and would not release them.

continuing from above Instead of releasing the clothing and providing a customer friendly attitude the Manager held the clothing as ransom until the USA Masonry paid the ransom. USA Masonry employee's are not used to this kind of treatment from either Priceline or Comfort Inn. We have a Marriott Hotel under construction in Dodge City and have 20 rooms to rent for 6 weeks. Obviously we will be staying somewhere other than Comfort Inn. Thank you for letting me tell you this experience. Mike Miller USA Masonry, Inc ...read more

Location
The halls, lobby and rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. There was black mold on the bathroom ceilings that were spray painted over. The carpet was dirty. The bed comforter had dried food on them. Lights did not work. Just very disappointing overall.

Unsatisfactory!

Everything was average. nothing really wrong but nothing impressive and it was overpriced.
Staff. It was just a job and I'm not going to do any more than I have to.

Compared to the other places we stayed this was the most expensive and least enjoyable of all. It was just average. I have stayed at worse places but nothing here to make me want to come back. Overpriced for what it is.

The receptionist and manager were very accommodating

The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. When we got to our room we found a water leak coming through the ceiling. We were given 2 rooms to accommodate our family. It was 2 rooms which the hotel holds for last evidently. One was located under the stairs and the other was a smoking room. The room smelled so bad we couldn't sleep so we went to the other room which was noisy because of people walking up the stairs. It was also next to the dining room which had people partying into early in the morning. ...read more
