Hotel Guest Reviews of the Cobblestone Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

location and it is very pretty
The room was small and there was paint chipping off the walls. The bathroom had no space for your things.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. The room was clean, had a fireplace, and soft drinks in the refrigerator. There was a wine and cheese reception in the afternoon and a great breakfast included.
It was difficult to find using our GPS. We circled around a couple of times trying to find the place.

We loved our experience at the Cobblestone Inn. It was far enough away from the ocean that there was street parking available yet close enough to walk to the beach and all the shops nearby. The bed, as I already said, was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. A staff member said the mattresses are handmade by a company in Monterey. The breakfast included a homemade quiche, fresh fruit, blueberry muffins, coffee, orange juice. The cottage is charming with a European garden look. Overall wonderful experience! ...read more

The location was perfect and convenient to walk in Carmel By The Sea.
Plumbing pipes were noisy and cold water shower handle was not secured and easy came off. Did not have hot water for one night, but staff fixed the problem.

Location and breakfast.
Yes !! The hotel needs a new heating system installed for the building. The noise level from the radiant pipes was unexceptable. If you do not want to sleep at night and feel exhausted in the morning than this is the place for you. Lots of complaints.

The hotel needs a completely new heating system and renovation. At this status condition of the hotel a fair price would be
xxxx a night. Save your $$$$$ until this hotel is renovated.

Carmel is a very sofisticated and expensive area. This hotel is simple, but it is charming and worth the rates charged.
