Would never stay there again. The front desk didn't check us in properly and somebody else tried to knock the door down in the middle of the night as they were assigned the room too. Then the front desk called the room, again the middle of the night, to see who was in the room. It was very upsetting. They never apologized. The layout is crazy, and not welcoming.

This hotel has been under renovation for the past 6 years. Are they ever going to complete this reno or is it a constant work in progress.

The location of the hotel was great, it has a large pet area at the rear of the hotel, and having a restaurant in the hotel was very convenient (also an Applebees next door). The room was very clean, however the wing we were in was older. The room did not have a fridge or microwave, and no free breakfast offered.

The hotel was clean enough, but the appearance was more like a 1-star. I have been in many hotels in my business and this was NOT a 3-star. The only redeeming grace was the swimming pool. We were on a tight schedule and had small windows of time to use the pool, and both times they didn't have pool towels available. The excuse was always "They're in the dryer" I am a "Mystery Shopper" for many companies and this experience would have flunked the test. The initial experience with the desk clerk was a mixed bag of worms. He was polite enough, but took about 15 minutes to navigate through the computer check-in process while my children waited outside in the car. That was very uncomfortable to me...and I assume to any parent. The door key was not very responsive and the door knob was loose. The room was clean enough, but not impressive at all. My wife made the comment, wow...is this really a 3-star motel? I had no answer for her. We got settled in and my next task was to find out about breakfast. I called the front desk to find out we would need to purchase breakfast through the restaurant if we wanted the convenience of eating there. We paid an additional $20.00 for that which we were not counting on. We were on a budget this trip and wish we would have read the fine print regarding breakfast. We will next time. None of the employees seemed upbeat and positive. I have been in that sort of "Budget environment" before and this experience clearly reminded me of those such encounters. We thought we were getting a good deal from Price line. This was not a good experience and unfortunately a black eye for the hotel and for Price line. ...
