Hotel Guest Reviews of the Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The kids liked the pool.
I bought two rooms with 2 beds in each one. They gave us one bed in each room. Then tried to charge us $30 more for one room with two beds. Where were the grandkids supposed to sleep? Ridiculous treatment.

Staff services great. When the Air conditioning window unit failed to cool off the room, they immediately shifted us & my sick wife to another room on the same floor.
Old Physical Plant, typical of a Radisson in 1980's, with little in-room manintenance.-found cashew in carpet at end of bed,100db bathroom fan & broken A/C in first room.-found two lamps not working in 2nd room, 1 missing a bulb & 1 broken fixture

Internet worked. Walking distance to light rail. Free parking.
This hotel was clearly a motel that was converted to a hotel for additional profit. The hotel is very outdated and needs to be professionally repaired. The rooms are dilapidated. There was no free breakfast. This was not a 2-star hotel.

Closeness to airport
Didn't feel safe, blocked the door with a chair, smoke alarm went off in hall and no call from front desk about what was going on,sounded like twice someone was trying to come in.

Ability to use it as a park and ride option for airport travel
Hot water was not working properly -- the shower was lukewarm; we also thought the phone did not work, as there was no dial tone and some buttons were missing. The front desk then called the phone, so it appeared it was a mute button of some kind.

Convenient location to our event. Reasonably priced rooms available at the last minute. Large room with sofa. Comfy bed. We were always able to get a parking spot convenient to our room.
Squeaky bathroom faucet handles (dry o-rings). The room access cards lost their programming very easily. We had to go to the front desk 3 times in two days to get our access cards reprogrammed. The front desk was maybe a bit understaffed.

Spacious room with a comfy bed. Parking proved to be always available. Air con worked great. Appreciated in room fridge and microwave.
