Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt French Quarter

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was very clean and perfect location right at the beginning of bourbon st.
Parking was awful. I wasn't expecting to pay for parking and to park overnight at the hotel was $48/night. There is a parking garage across the street for $24/night. Also you have to pay for wifi.

friendly and very helpful staff, quiet well furnished room, great location!
Parking fee was pricey. In room Microwave would have been great. Airport shuttle would be very convenient if they would provide it.

Excellent location! Short walk to Bourbon St. Adjacent to Hard Rock Cafe. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Great price of $xxx per night!
Valet parking too expensive. Towels were a little scratchy. Water was turned off for repairs on first night from 11p-5a. NICE hotel, but should be listed as 3.5 stars!

Location was awesome! Could walk out of hotel to either Canal St, Bourbon, or Iberville. Room was huge; asked for a quiet room and was assigned a room by the pool/courtyard area. Overall, it was a great for my wife and I and our 20-month old.
Parking was ridiculous. Valet was $51 (rate plus taxes) per night. After the first night, moved to the Central Parking lot that is cattycorner to the hotel for half the price. Highly recommend utilizing this lot, instead of the hotel parking.

We requested a outside balcony and called to confirm that, then when got there we were told they do not have outside balcony rooms with two beds. We should have told this at the beginning. We have stayed somewhere else.

The large comfortable room with balcony was very nice.
They only offered valet parking, no self park option.xxx a night is a bit much even for the French Quarter.

Great location, right in the middle of all the action, but still very quiet at night.
Not at all, very clean, staff was great. Large Ice machines, in good position.

Located just two streets from all the action. Has doorways on two streets. Very secure, all doors locked at night.

Large, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location right on Bourbon Street.
A little noisy.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location right on Bourbon Street. Free wi-fi would have been nice (more luxury hotels are just going ahead and including this.) This hotel does not, although they at least provide free wi-fi in the lobby. The building is obviously older, but both the room and the public areas were fresh and clean, with no signs of wear and tear. The staff was friendly and entirely professional. Being an older building, it's a little noisier than your typical downtown hotel, but then again, you're on Bourbon Street, so it should take more than a little noise to ruin your day! Overall, a great experience. ...read more
