if you are going to stay in this hotel, pay the extra money and stay in the best room. if you go cheap, you get way less then what you pay for. the staff was somewhat friendly depending on who is up front.

We got our moneys worth during our stay. Weren't aware we had to pay additional for parking per day. Small hotel but beats the crowd of Waikiki. Prime location for the Honolulu Zoo, beaches, stores, and eateries. Shay at the front desk was VERY FRIENDLY and very helpful!

The check-in was pleasant enough except when I asked about the $17/day parking fee and was told that "the parking garage is pretty slammed full tonight, but I can reserve something for you tomorrow... Oh wait your leaving tomorrow." It seemed she expected me to just initial off on it and she never suggested where I should park for the night. We went up to the room (516) and the first thing we noticed was a putrid smell in the room. My fiancee thought it was the toilet backed up or something, but I have experience in this odor as a rat died in a crawl space at work and we had to live with this same smell for a week. Since it was late and we were leaving early in the morning (we live on a neighbor island and were there only for a concert) we decided to just go with it since there was no night manager available. We were located above the hotel bar and needless to say we didn't get much sleep! The shower was clean enough, however by the time I was finished with my shower there was 6 inches of water in the tub. As I was checking out I informed the guy at the front desk about the smell along with the many burned out light bulbs and he seemed to get defensive at first, probably thought I was trying to get a discount or money back, but when he saw that I wasn't he then pretty much blew me off. Look at all the reviews and ask for a room that got a positive and especially stay away from the ones that are negatively reviewed. Pros (because I think I should find some good in everything): Location, location, location. The room appeared to be clean. ...

I booked 2 rooms but when we got there, one room got upgraded with a kitchen, not too bad but the other room was so smelly when we got into it that we have to go back downstair to tell them to change it to another room. The check in staff was very friendly, he handled everything wonderful. One of our room was cleaned once and the other room was clean twice. We had to asked for more toilet papers and clean towels. ...

Great location, right by the beach, nightclub upstairs has cheap drinks and is fun. Good place to stay if room is just a sleeping spot. There is a lot to do so you really don't spend much time in your room

Priceline , you should be ashamed of yourselves¿ As a former flight attendant I can¿t tell you this was the most disgusting hotel I have ever experienced . Not only was it filthy , the plastic crackle noise from underneath the bottom sheet was very disturbing and loud . You need to take this one off your website immediately. I really feel you did not do your job as far as checking anything in advance . I am appalled ! ...
