Hotel Guest Reviews of the Capitol Skyline Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 26, 2013

Price was good for the level of hotel. Felt safe all the time. Nice staff. Expensive city to visit, so glad to save what we could.

Both nights there were people hanging around in the lobby that made me uncomfortable. I think they were up to illegal activity. The lobby has furniture from many different styles and vintages - all of it run-down. Definitely not a three-star hotel.

This hotel was a good value for the price based on other comparable hotels in Washington, DC. The room was fairly large. The bathroom was a small, but adequate. The room had a flat panel TV with a good selection of channels. When I first got to my room the internet service was intermittent, but eventually was fixed. The hotel has secure parking for which they say they charge $25, but did not charge me for some reason. The staff was friendly and courteous. It is also reasonably close to downtown. The only dings that I would mention are that the facility is older and seems somewhat dimmly lit. My room also had a smallish square work table, perhaps 3' x 3', with a table lamp that was glued to the center of the table. Since I travel for work, I use the table extensively and this one seemed like I was working off the corner and didn't have room to spread out. Overall though I would stay here again. ...

II would never willingly stay at this hotel. It costs a fortune in fares to go anywhere and there's nothing but a McDonalds nearby. The "free" Wi-Fi did not work half the time during my four night stay. Absolutely the worst Priceline hotel I've ever stayed at. In fact I would say it's really the only hotel I've not been happy with in at least 10 years of using Priceline for many trips. ...

This location is great for being able to walk down to Congress and the Smithsonian museums. The appearance of the building was really good, and the room we stayed in was very clean as well. The staff were really helpful as well.

The staff was great the rooms need to have Refrigerators and microwaves. They have free Wi-Fi but had a really hard time using it on my phone for some reason.
