We stayed here for two nights. We love our queen bed room suite very much and will definitely go back once we have chance. The location is excellent. It is in walking distance to St. Catherine, Place Des Arts, Vieu port, China Town etc. Our room was at the sunny side, it was so bright and comfortable during the day time when sun splashed into the room. It was well maintained, spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. One of the best thing is Candlewood is pet friendly. Our little doggie (10 lbs) loved Candlewood as much as we did. Parking is $20 per day and located underground of the building. All in all, we have nothing to complain about Candlewood.

Very convenient to Place des Arts and to Complexe des Jardins. Desk staff were both efficient and friendly.Checking in is complicated by the Montreal city rule that you can't park at all on Rene Levesque from 3:30 to 5:30 pm due to rush hour traffic rules. The desk clerk told us and I had to run out and park around the corner and come back in.Room we were in was large with a kitchen. Plainly but comfortably furnished and clean. ...

The hotel was in a great location, and the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Additionally the free DVD's and popcorn were a great plus.

Business Traveler
This hotel is lodged between the historic old town and the major shopping streets, so it is a good place to stay if you want to access both. Close to Chinatown (and their great restaurants) and to St. Denis Street, with its crunchy charm.

It was a great experience in a suit, it had a living room, an open kitchen, and a bed room. Two TVs in bedroom and living room. It was very clean and spacious. The staff were polite, and the price was great.The only thing I did not like were the towels that looked too old and the blanket that was more like a towel.
