Hotel Guest Reviews of the Canadian Rockies Chalets

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very big rooms spacious in living quarters but a little tight in the kitchen. Only about a block away from major grocery stores. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The staff were great and very very helpful. The chalets (Which are condo`s/apartments) were very up to date and a good size. Was very good value.
The train can be a little noisy as its near the train tracks. However it only seemed to go past a few times a day while we were staying there, so the noise is for around 15-20 minutes a day in total at a maximum.

size, kitchen
not very clean, broken door and fridge inside door, broken hair dryer

Good for the price, lots of space and a full kitchen. Some things were broken like back door and hair dryer. They don't come and clean your room or change bedding but it is worth it for the price.

cheap and good location
The room could have been cleaner. I was on the ground level and the train was noisy. We froze in the rooms and could not get the thermometer to work at all.

Very cute, nice location.
Wasn't clean, easy to hear people upstairs, very loud.

Nice location, I would recommend staying upstairs it's easy to hear people upstairs, very hard to sleep.

The roof didn't leak.
I was stiflingly hot.

The hotel is located on (literally 15' away) from the rail line. Although it is very spacious, you can't get any sleep due to the constant trai noise. The room smelled stale.

It was a neat set up for rooms, good location, and clean.
Very loud in bottom rooms. Footsteps were heard loud and clear.

Rooms were clean, Chalets had a neat design. However, staying in the bottom rooms were very loud from rooms above.

Spacious room, comfortable bedding, fridge.
Cold tile floor, stains on carpet, noisy forced air furnace system.

Good location and large suites.
Room was dirty and smelled bad. Trains were so loud had to pause DVD.

If you don't care about cleanliness and aesthetics and are just looking for large suites to split with friends and/or family, then this place is for you. I personally was a little grossed out by the bad smell and dirtiness of the suite (popcorn in the couch, stuff spilled on the walls that was never properly wiped off, dirt and dust in corners, etc)
