Hotel Guest Reviews of the Canadas Best Value Inn And Suites Summerside

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very nice back lawn
Small cramp room; no storage space, just a desk; very weak water pressure and thin stream of water in bathroom sink; weak water pressure in toilet, had to flush it twice each use; breakfast so-so; no blackout curtain in window; water pressure fluctuates

Manager unable to give receipt showing final cost of room. Does not warrant its 31/2 star rating.

It had 2 separate bedrooms with a kitchenette.
Hotel is dated but has everything one would need for a nice weekend getaway.

The layout was good and although the hotel was in a remote area it gives off a "home like" feeling
The complimentary breakfast was quite minimal. I ended up having to go find something more substantial after checking out.

The room was very spacious, had a great kitchen inside.
There was nothing bad in particular.

Large rooms, lots of soap/shampoo available. Large kitchenette with a stove, toaster and fridge. TV had a lot of channels.

Although we were expecting only a microwave and refrigerator, we were given a room with a kitchenette complete with utensils and cookware.
Although the hotel was supposed to be nonsmoking, our room had a slight cigarette smell.

The breakfast which included waffles, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, and hot/cold cereal, was adequate. There was an above ground pool which we did not utilize because of the weather. Staff was helpful in providing directions and suggestions regarding local attractions. There were many things to do in the area. We visited the wind research facility on the North Cape, Province House in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island National Park, and Anne of Green Gable related attractions in Cavendish. The hotel is located on a large grassy lot near some farms which gives children plenty of room to exercise. Although the room was not luxurious, it met our needs for a three day stay. ...read more
