A Great location in town. Within walking of lots of shops and National Cemetery. Room was average, but clean. Cost was fair. If you just need a room to sleep and stay in the middle of it all-this is your place.

location is good, price is ok but there are other motels and hotels in same area which look nicer although I'm not sure of the prices. Next time we visit Gettysburg we will try other motels, and only return to Three Crowns if no other places have rooms.

The "kitchenette" consisted of a very old mini-fridge on the vanity next to our bathroom sink. The deadbolt did not work. The bathroom door did not close. The air conditioner was old and dusty and the plastic grate was held on by duct tape. It did not appear to be clean. The room was never serviced (we stayed multiple nights.) We were told it was a non-smoking room, but it did not have the brass doorplate indicating non-smoking (as some other rooms did) and indeed it smelled of smoke. About a month before we got there, we shortened our stay by one night-- they had lost that information. The ice bucket was wet and moldy. The bedspread was stained. The tv was ancient (the complete opposite of flatscreen, it didn't even fit on the dresser.) The fan in the bathroom was on a timer that didn't work, so the fan ran continuously unless you manually forced it off. It looked like the room had not really been cleaned in a while; like it hadn't been repaired in many years; and hadn't been redecorated in decades. It did have a strong WiFi signal, it was a great location, and the manager was extremely nice. ...
