Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/Pittsford

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was great. Very clean and newly redecorated. Very friendly helpful staff.
Limited breakfast hours. Restaurant very lightly staffed. Food was good.

Very nice. Very clean. Conveniently located. Beautiful historical Erie Canal area. Convenient quality food selections by it. Eastview Mall close for shopping.

very open concept, amenities all close at hand when walking thru front door...light and airy...pool was small but nice...felt safe coming in late at nite...
it w/have been helpful if security had spoken to the ladies in my room hallway (137) Sat nite and told them to stop 'hoursing' around in the hallways at 2 am!

Convenient to NY Thruway and our family; friendly staff, attractive setting
No outdoor space for resting or enjoying a beautiful day. No clothing hooks in bathroom

We were there for a bereavement visit. The staff was very accomodating in allowing early check-in, so that we could change our clothing after a 5 hour drive before going to the funeral home. The post-funeral luncheon was also held in the hotel, and the staff was very caring, and the head-waiter asked about my widowed sister-in-law later that evening when we dined in the hotel again. I hope to stay there again on a happier visit. ...read more

convenient to Tim Hortons, a pharmacy, etc. since breakfast at the inn didn't start until 8:30 am. Coffee in room was not good.
The $9.95 breakfast times two was charged automatically to the room as part of the rate and it was crappy!!!@!!

The bed was very nice. We had trouble getting the climate control just right. I only slept 3 1/2 hours that nite. Don't know if it was the room's fault or not. Probably was an MSG headache caused by a Chinese dinner the nite before. Thank goodness for Tim HOrton's and pharmacy next door at 6 am. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned well with bleach. The grout between tiles was filthy. Music as you enter the inn was WAY TOO LOUD! The exercise room was nice. ...read more

The location was safe and close to shopping
couldn't sleep well - very thin walls, staff unhelpful. Very old (though clean) washrooms.

Unless you are on a very very small budget, avoid the Brookwood Inn. At night, it sounded like the neighbours were in our room having a discussion - yes, the walls are that thin! The bathrooms were very dated, slightly mouldy tiles, cracked or chipped in places. Peeling corners on wallpapers. The staff apologized, but offered no real ability to change rooms. The breakfast was worse than that of other smaller hotels - stale muffins, cups and plates ran out, inedible bread, and they made bad coffee. There's no fridge or microwave in the room, coffee maker didn't look like it worked. For same price/value,better to stay at many of the other hotels in the Victor area. ...read more

Clean and comfortable.
transitioning TV system so channels had to be found by trial & error and no HBO as advertised.

Great hotel for the price.
