The room was small but ideal just to sleep in.

Owner was very friendly, beautiful view of the ST. lawrence river.

Staff very congenial Comfortable and clean

The view from the motel of the St. Lawrence River is majestic with the Johnstown/Ogdensburg Bridge to the left and the Port of Johnstown Terminal Port to the right. Ships docking, bringing in grain, as well as salt from Goderich, to place in bulk storage. Fort Wellington is only about three kilometers west on Highway #2. It was built during the war of 1812 to defend the shipping route between Montreal and Kinston from attacks from the United States. A must see. more

I really liked the decor in the renovated room that we stayed in, it would be something I would have in my own house.
Neighbours came back to the room very late at night and were quite noisy. Rooms aren't very soundproof

We loved the price of this hotel. The owners were very friendly and are obviously fixing the place up. The decor in the renovated rooms is very nice. We liked the location of this hotel, hot far from the 401, down by the river, and the drive along CR2 thru Prescott and Maitland the next day was really nice. We would stay here again.

They said they'd call right back. We called their cell phone and they never phoned us back. To this day they still haven't phoned us. When we got there, there was no-one in the office, nor anyone that answered our knocks. We had to move on to another hotel. Thanks god, because it was dark and dirty looking.
