Hotel Guest Reviews of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The lobby was beautiful.
The rooms and bathrooms were TINY - that was mentioned in some reviews, but still surprised me. The air conditioner wasn't as strong as I would have liked it to be.

I was really surprised that it was rated 3.5 stars. I would have given my room a 1.5 star. It's not to say that there was anything wrong with it - but it definitely was not a luxury experience. More of a standard room with a bed. It's a fine place to stay if you just need a place to crash at night. The location is excellent.

Location...nothing else
Old hotel which needs updating. Concierge provided incorrect message regarding July 4th fireworks which caused us to wait 1.5 for start & could not provide any information about best way to see fireworks. Very hot in room-staff acted inconvenienced

Would not stay here again.

We loved the location and the charming, historic feel to the hotel.

Hotel was better than expected! The hotel is older but that is what gives it it's charm. Super quaint, clean rooms. The location was perfect for walking to Boston Common, walking the Freedom Trail, shopping on Newberry Street and was just a short cab ride to Fenway. Definitely recommend!

Location, vintage feel
The air conditioning was barely working. The room did not seem very clean and there was no refrigerator.

Location
Room was very small as well was the bathroom.

You could NOT have anymore than 2 people for sure.

The bed was amazing! So comfortable. The location was perfect. Dowtown and just a block away from the subway.
Bathroom was small, but who spends that much time in a bathroom anyway. The elevator was a little rickety.

The gave us a complementary room upgrade for no reason. Staff was great and helpful. Felt safe and secure while staying here. Hotel was quiet. Would definitely choose this hotel every time.

The location was perfect. Very close to the green line train, shopping and Boston Commons.
The room was incredibly small and run-down considering the price. Our window looked out onto the roof, so the whole experience was just a little claustrophobic.

The location
room size/bathroom size/shower size/no space for toiletries/poor window view/ TV location/bathroom location at foot of bed/some common area lighting was dark and not conducive for reading. Had issue with key 2nd day, was told I have to re register.

If it were not for the A+ location this hotel would not have a lot going for it.

The location of the hotel was awesome, 1/2 block from the subway, right next to the park. The staff changed rooms for us since our first room overlooked a roof. The second room overlooked the park. Request a room on upper floors on the park side.
No free Wifi. This should be a requirement of hotels. Some of the room furniture out of date and needs replacing, but not a big deal.
