Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bolger Hotel And Conference Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great setting in a park like environment
Did not like that I had to drive from the reception to my hotel complex. Also - it did not feel like a hotel with a full set of restaurant, bar, etc.

Location was very convenient and accessible without the typical hussle and bussle of the area. The beds were wonderful and clean. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast until 11AM!
We went during winter break and the indoor pool was not open. Also, not very many guests so felt a little odd.

This is very affordable, comfortable, and peaceful experience. The hotel is surrounded by woods and it is spread out in multiple buildings. There are no parking problems either. There is a cool bar area and free breakfast until 11AM!

Clean room/bathroom, beautiful grounds/landscaping, great bar/restaurant.
Very small room, parking a little far from our room, check-in desk guys didn't smile/seemed disinterested.

My first impression was not a good one when we arrived at the front desk, the two men didn't look up at my wife and I until I said hello. No smile, no 'Welcome to the Bolger Hotel', no interest at all, when he handed the room key to me, he pointed out the window and said the building where we were staying was across the street. Once my wife and I walked outside there were a couple of building entrances and we didn't know which one to go to and we weren't told where to park. We figured it out, but it would have been nice if the man would have given us a little better guidance since this was practically a college campus sized place. Once we arrived at our room, it was small, but very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. The bar/restaurant was very nice, although we didn't get to enjoy it because there was a bar-mitzfah that took it over for the entire Saturday night. Before we checked out Sunday morning, we stayed for the buffet breakfast that was excellent and finally the woman at the front desk that checked us out couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and professional, unlike when we checked in.

Rooms, dining and campus are excellent.
I wish the fine dining were not so costly.

The Bolger campus is beautiful, and lies in a wooded nature land in Potomac. The facilities are nice, with good-sized rooms, immaculate common areas, and is reminiscent of grand hotels of the past. Breakfast brunch is good, dinner at the Pony Express is adequate, but the fine dining is too costly.

The staff helped us re-register and saved us half our money. Rooms, dining and campus are excellent.

Extremely friendly service and staff, went out of their way to help us. The hotel was quiet and comfortable.
The swimming pool was interesting, its only open 5:30-10:30 but there were swim lessons in it until 6:30. "heated pool" was not heated.

Overall a great place, friendly and comfortable.

Location, staff, restaurant and amenities all terrific.
Nothing

Will definitely stay there again. Friends in the area were unaware of it and were very impressed.
