The motel was only about 2 kilometers from the town of Peterborough, and relatively close to the #115 interchange. There are several gas stations (especially Pioneer) and a couple of coffee shops in the area.

We knew this would be 'motel like', but it was the only thing available. Even so it was horrific. Nice guy on reception and it went down from there. I know it was only $50, but yellow towels, little heat, no possibility of a shower due to water flow. Tried desperately to get out of our second night,, but closest hotel with rooms available was near Oshawa. Had to stay but definitely spoiled our opinion of the city. ...
