Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western The Cromwell

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location and great breakfast.
The sink was very small and did not drain well at all. The shower did not drain that well, either, but it wasn't as much of a problem.

The location was superb. It is within walking distance of Kensington Palace and Hyde Park as well as many restaurants. The best part about the location is that the Gloucester tube station is right across the street, and it connects you to stations all over London. Furthermore, the breakfast and breakfast service were excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. ...read more

Very well located.
The room was very small. Too small. Not enough the space to properly sit on the toilet!!, The common room were quite basic for a 4 star hotel. There are several other 4 stars in the same street and they are much better.

Great location across from the tube. Fantastic staff that were very accommodating, and super helpful. Laura and Federico were fantastic. I will come back again. Kudos to the Cromwell.

The bed was nice and comfortable. I got the best rest there out of the places I stayed on my holiday. The balcony view of the garden from the hotel room was fantastic. Nice way to enjoy a brisk morning tea. Near by there are a lot of nice places to eat and walk to. The location was perfect for us. I really liked the French bakery, Paul. Overall a wonderful stay.

The location, the buffet breakfast, the friendliness of the hotel staff and the availability of wi-fi in the room.
The room could have been a little larger.

The hotel is well located in South Kensington near the Gloucester Road underground station. A bus stop right in front of the hotel provides transportation to Oxford Street in the downtown area. The buffet breakfast is good, with a good selection of items to choose from. The room is a little small, as is typical of London hotels, as well as the elevator which is a little "tight". The bathroom is quite modern and the choice of stations in the TV is a little narrow (mostly British stations). ...read more

Location, nice buffet breakfast

Perhaps this is a 4 star hotel for London but not quite compared to US standards. Nice but not 4 star. Great location for museum complex (15 min walk), tube station less than a block away, plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Very nice buffet breakfast with both hot and cold items plus the hotel serves breakfast till 10am so you can sleep in a bit. Had good luck with in room internet(good strength and free). Would definitely stay here again if we were planning on doing things in the Kensington area. ...read more

Location is excellent for tourists.
The rooms are tiny and kind of musty.

The rooms were very small even by European standards. I'm 5'3 and 120 lbs. I am not a big person, but I had to jump on the bed to get around the wall-touching-bed. It is that small. The bathroom is worse. The sink was so small that I splashed water on the ground by washing my hands!! The breakfast provided was delicious and beyond expectation. That made up for the ...odd miniature structures. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who would consider themselves petite. ...read more

location and breakfast
Very limited cable channels.

Great location, helpful staff, generous breakfast. Rooms are very nice, though small as is the norm for London. Very clean.

Friendly staff.
House conversion resulting in a warren of narrow hallways and stairs.

O.K. for one night, but would not like to stay longer.

Family organized. Quiet rooms.
Breakfast could be better, but it was free.

The rooms were kind of small, but the hotel gets the job done and gives you a good rest. Friendly staff.
