Very clean and staff was awesome! The complimentary breakfast was hot and cooked to order from a special menu. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, even for my teenager! If I need to stay in Gila Bend again, it'll be here.

Good restaurant.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was very good.
Even though we shutdown our A/C, the A/C's for other rooms were very noisy - making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The railroad noise was also annoying, although we can't blame the motel for that.

It met our expectations for an inexpensive motel for our trip to California,

Unique entrance, great food for the breakfast.
Train tracks 100 yds out our window with trains going past every 2 hours or so during the night. Hard to get a good nights sleep. Also, only got 2 breakfast vouchers when there were 3 of us.

Nothing additional.

Comfy bed. Soft carpet.
Rude clerk, no shower curtain. They charged us again even though
I discussed previous payment. No control over shower temperature.

Clerk did not believe I had prepaid in spite of physical proof. Then she interrogated me about my pets after I was talking to my wife about our dog we had dropped off at my sister-in-law's house. The shower didn't have a curtain which made it more fun for my kids. Whoops. The shower water temperature kept going from cold to unacceptably hot and constantly changing. When we checked out we were charged again for both rooms. I called and the same lady answered. She seemed like she already knew I was calling for a refund. Still waiting for the deposit. more

We awoke to the most beautiful birds singing and a gorgeous sunrise!
Pool was not heated.

We appreciated the fact that this hotel saved us from Phoenix traffic on our travel morning. It is a perfect stop if you are headed to Puerto Penasco or the Organ Pipe National Monument. It is a humble location with an outstanding bird sanctuary at the pool/hot tub area!

The convenience of stopping overnight at a reasonable rate and driving into phoenix in the morning. Free breakfast. Refrigerator, theme of motel.
Crickets in the room, no microwave.

This hotel is a good place to stay on the drive from San Diego to phoenix. It has a very retro space age theme that is charming. The rooms are comfortable and plain and we were happy to have a minim refrigerator that was bigger than the cube type ones that hotels usually provide. The staff was friendly in the lobby and in the free breakfast. We were pleased that eggs were served. Also you can order a regular breakfast for $2 off. A nice place to stay over night has a swim. more
