Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Royal Zona Rosa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Excellent location, very safe both day and night. A few people at the front always offering over-priced taxi rides but nothing you wouldn't expect in Mexico City. The Zona Rosa district is very safe and peaceful.
The main problem was the rooms are very cold, we thought the heater was broken but when we brought up the issue with reception they said they don't turn the heat on until 8pm! The day we arrived was a very cold day so it was not very comfortable.

The hotel saves money by not allowing heat during the day, I would imagine in the summer they restrict AC also. The restaurant is ok but not worth the money, I found the street vendor's food much better. The rooms themselves are clean and up-to-date, and the staff are polite. It's not too bad, but not great.

Location: restaurants, shopping and very safe zone. Very near metro station. Super fast complimentary wi-fi.
The pool could be slightly heated.

Very nice staff overall, very courteous.
Very hard beds and pillows.

The room was large and accommodating. It was nice to get two bottles of water per day. The bathroom needs updating, it's older and some tiles were chipped. The shower kept switching from hot to cold and the water pressure was not strong enough.

Clean, nice, friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel went beyond meeting our expectations. The location was excellent (near parks, near shopping centers, near business centers, etc). The hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and also helpful.

Small loveseat separate from bed to watch television.
Front desk personnel were somewhat cold.

Nice place for a quick overnight stay. Easy access to food/shopping/entertainment in Zona Rosa. Also, very easy access to Metro and Metro Buses for people comfortable using public transportation in Mexico City.
