My kids enjoyed the pool but was disappointed no hot tub
We were first given one king bed for three people, then switched to two queen, which would have been great but it was a smoking room and my one daughter has allergy and asthma issues and is allergic to the smell of smoke. She was sick by morning!

Make it easier when bidding on a room to make sure it is big enough for how many are going and whether it is a smoking room, some people do get sick to that smell

Our room was very clean and comfortable..great bed and pillows..They have an excelent free breakfast..would stay again if in Marshalltown.

The price from Priceline. Had a pool but I didn't get to use it becuase it closed at 10 pm and we didn't check in until 9:30.It had a free breakfast which was fair.
The bartender on staff at the bar attached to the hotel didn't greet us, we waited for him to take our drink order and he didn't acknowledge us as we left. It was New Years Eve and the bar only had a few people in it. He just talked to the few people at t

For the price on Priceline I can't complain. It was $85 after taxes and we just wanted a place to sleep for the night. The sheets were nice, the bed was soft, the carpet was fresh and new. The lobby was inviting. Had a fireplace and newspapers. The layout of the hotel is good making it easy to find the workout room, pool and lobby.

Location.
Cable channels were not working. We were told they were trying to fix it. But they never did.Phone did not work until we discovered that it was not plugged in correctly.

Location was good and room was comfortable. Hallway to lobby was congested due to a group meeting.

We stayed there for IA State University Parent's weekend. It was farther from Ames than I thought (35-40 minutes), but the drive was easy and so was the room rate. Don't miss the breakfast sausage!
