Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Windsor Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The Best-Western Windsor was a fabulous surprise, a late 1800s building that has been thoroughly brought up to date w/o losing any of the original charm. Great restaurant, nifty bar w/ an outdoor balcony overlooking the main street. Staff well presented

It's very pretty and well restored historically.
A family checked in at 3:30 am and the father was screaming at the children. The walls are so thin and poorly sound proofed it was like they were in our room. I understand this is an old hotel but it was awful.

The small town and quirky feel. It made me feel as if I was at home.

The historic value of the building and its decor. There are rumors that the place is haunted, which only added to the mystique. Take a walk around the town at night and enjoy the lights around the exterior of the hotel when you return.
No. We had a great time.

Everything was excellent at the hotel. The staff was friendly and informative, and beside the Edwardian feel of the building itself and its furnishings, there is also the historic value of President Carter staying (and possibly Al Capone and John Dillinger.) The beds were very comfortable, and the location is amazing!

very nice staff. the hotel is one hundred years old. lots of character. Huge porch on second floor with rocking chairs. Nice lobby. Interesting old photographs are everywhere. Clean, quiet room.
Americus has seen better times. Downtown is pretty sad. Lots of empty storefronts. It has interesting architecture so it was still fun to look around.Of course this isn't the fault of the hotel!

Do not recommend eating at the restaurant in the hotel. Very expensive and the food was awful. The server was friendly and efficient, and the space has incredible potential. If only they had a talented/educated chef. The ambitious menu was way over his or her head..!!! Gelatinous soup, rock hard croutons, dried out salmon, gross soggy tart. Thank goodness for the rolls and butter. ...read more
