Family Traveling with Teens
This hotel promised to pick us at the Miami international airport. After several calls and getting dark in an unfamiliar environment, we finally called for cab to the hotel and incurred $40 in extra expense.

The hotel was okay, nothing to write home about. As mentioned before, we ordered a towel (we had 4 people in our party, only 3 towel sets were provided); the towel never came. The toilet broke during the middle of the night, and I had to reattach the chain. When checking out, I wanted to complain, but the clerk was on the phone the entire time. Things we liked: airport shuttle provided at no cost, breakfast provided (although perhaps it could start earlier for early flights), nice pool. ...

It was a very bad experience. I called the hotel initially to ask about the shuttle as we would not be arriving until near midnight...I was told no problem they had a shuttle. I called the day before just to confirm our reservation and shuttle because we were arriving so late. at this point i was told the last shuttle was at 10 pm. They also said that they had our reservation and it did not matter what time we arrived the room is held untio 10 am the next day. after we took a cab to the "airport hotel" which was very far from the airport, We got to our room and it was a smoking room with 2 double beds...we booked and CONFIRMED the day before a king NON SMOKING. We went to the desk and were told there was only 1 non smoking room left and it was booked for someone else. Our room
reeked of smoke. we could not sleep as I am allergic to smoke so we ended up leaving and going back to the airport. ...
