Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Lighthouse Suites Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very spacious room, great continental breakfast.
Pool water was very cloudy. There were weeds groing in the gutters, hanging on above your head when on the balcony.

It was quiet. The breakfast buffet had good variety. It was close to beach access.
Nothing.

Easy to find.

Location was great, had a restaurant and bar, a nice pool and a nice eating area with a better than average continental breakfast.

Good breakfast. Nice pool, great location.
We were put on dog friendly floor, which meant lots of dog poo in areas outside.

The location is on the beach. The rooms were very large with a refrigerator, microwave and patio. The rooms were also very quiet.
The restaurant. I'm extremely flexible about restaurants and travel a lot. However, this restaurant was pretty bad. Service and food were poor. The mixed vegetables were not only cold, but some were still frozen. Could use more TV stations.

Nice hotel for the price. The continental breakfast was pretty extensive with good hours. The room was very large & comfortable and the location is great. The room and common areas were very clean and quiet. Our only issue was the on-site restaurant. The food was below average with cold vegetables (some were still frozen)and the servers, although very nice, didn't really know the menu and were slow to serve us. We'd definitely stay here again, but would look elsewhere for dinner. ...read more

Location. Nice staff.
Complimentary breakfast inedible.

I expected more for the price. The morning meal consisted of microwaved (rubber) scrambled eggs. White bread for toast. Coffee dregs. Lots of screaming children and inadequate seating/tables. The pool opens right into the lobby/check-in and the floor was always covered with water from the kids running around. Vending machine accepts $5 for for $1.50 purchase -- but doesn't give change. Just a lot of little things that made the stay not-so-nice. ...read more

Restaurant closed at 9 pm; breakfast room was understaffed and the young lady, working so diligently, was run ragged.

We would not drive to this hotel again. Price was out of line with the quality received.

Big suites, right on the beach.

The hotel is in a great location, essentially right on the beach. It feels a little worn, and isn't super upscale, but the location is quite nice. Very nice suites with water/beach view, fireplaces, kitchenette, spa bathtub. It's a Best Western, so there is an element of cheaper style and materials, but overall it did the job for us.

The room with whirlpool was excellent, the balcony was awesome, looking directly toward the ocean, and having deer directly underneath our deck.
Bed a bit hard and could hear water being drawn from room stairs when they used shower or tub.

People were friendly, informative, and
atmosphere was open and refreshing. There was a motor cycle event going on at the time and it was very exciting. The hotel was clean and the food for breakfast was the exception. It was wonderful. Overall outstanding experience.
