Hotel Guest Reviews of the BEST WESTERN Downtown Sudbury Centreville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room looked nice and it was close to downtown.
Except for the appearance of the room the rest of the hotel looked like it hadn't been updated or even really cleaned in a decade. Paint peeling in elevator, smelled of smoke everywhere. As soon as i walked in I didn't feel comfortable.

Pet-friendly rooms; liked adjoining rooms; breakfast had lots of options, hot and cold; staff was friendly and efficient; rooms were quiet, even on Sat. night & two conferences;
Renovating-peeling wallpaper, bathtub tiles uneven/ cracked;stairs don't go to lobby;elevator wait time;supplies for continental breakfast not monitored-ran out of hot water, coffee, bacon;reading bulbs burnt out;parking lot exposed to homeless shelter.

Price for such a descent hotel.
Transiants outside but nothing the hotel can do about it.

Breakfast was good, lots variety. Central located in the downtown and free parking.
Hotel is half renovated but no signs stating renovation is under way. Suites only 75% renovated no sinks, bath tubs or doors changed.

I chose this room because it was on sale the date that I went. It was king size, with jet tub. The bed was very comfy, it was quiet but the jet tub was very noisy. Hopefully I didn't keep people up. The parking was free across the street.
The breakfast was average; typical Best Western fare. The attendant was on top of everything. Front desk staff were OK. Salvation Army Hostel across the street is a little sketchy, but no problem. Downtown Sudbury is not all it should be.

They had tv channels such as AMC.
The elevator, the parking & it's proximity to a homeless shelter, the bath tub stopper didn't work so I couldn't take a bath. There was a beer in the fridge from the last guest. Beer cap on the floor. Didn't replace soap for 2nd day. Breakfast was gross.

Good location
There was mould around the window, there was grime around the sink and faucet, as well as mould in the tub. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the room was very tiny.

The front desk staff that were on both morning and evening shift were wonderful. Thanks for a great stay
