Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location, "Hardwood" floors over carpeting, Cleanliness + efficiency of staff
Not that I can think of

Can't beat the location, staff is pleasant, room is in the middle of chinatown but without the noise! I would absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast, good location, large rooms
'Woke up after 1st night with bites...spoke to manager, showed them exoskeleton. Moved to a different room, but dead bug found on bedspread. Slept very precariously after that.

Never saw "live" bugs but found exoskeletons and 1 dead bug. May've been bedbugs.

Staff very helpful, friendly. Went out of way to help!! Hotel very clean, good breakfast, comfortable clean room.
Street construction, literally 24/7, so even at 3 in morning still VERY noisy. I realize not hotels fault though. Car service used to get back to airport charged more than what was quoted by front desk and written on receipt. Big fight with driver.

The rooms are lovely - spacious and well-designed. Much better than expected.
It's noisy but so is any NY hotel.

Located in China town and near Little Italy. A great place for food and fresh fruit markets! Walking distance to the New Museum.

Location
Shower pressure and noise from breakfast buffet

Nice location easy to walk to most points in southern Manhattan. Free WiFi and breakfast.

THIS IS NOT A 3.5 star HOTEL as they would like you to believe. VERY overrated, the hallways smell like Chinese food from the various restaurants surrounding it. Found some type of weird red bug in the bathroom, significant hallway noise.

The staff was very helpful. The location was, for our needs, very convenient, on the edge of Chinatown and less than two blocks from the subway to mid-town Manhattan. Including breakfast in the price was a plus. The wiFi worked well.
The beds were a little small. Internal soundproofing could be better.

Parking is an issue. Because the city was working on Grand Street, it was not easy to unload or load our car near the hotel. One has to park in private parking garages two or three blocks away, and there is no valet parking. The location is worth it if you want to stay in lower Manhattan, but be prepared for the extra cost and hassle.
