Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bellingham Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast with the office clerk making the waffles was very nice and the waffle and jelly/jam was wonderful....
everyplace i looked had chipped paint. dingy, i knew it was clean, but just very old place without the charm. The floors in the hallways were so very noisy and the stairs going up stairs were very noisey because of all the creaks and noises.

was on first floor and got to hear everythng that happened in neighbors room (poor sound proofing), and i also got to hear everything upstairs like kids roaming and running thru the floor. The pool and a hot tub were a joke. In your advertising you compared it to super 8 and so forth, but this was an old dingy place with poor unlighted parking, and a hotel that was built 100 years ago. I should get a refund.........It was not a good experience i could share with anyone. The people that worked there did their best, but they are just employees. ...read more

The waffles.
The room was so dirty, the floors and curtains, and mattresses, and countertops were dirty or stained. The phone was absolutely disgusting. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a year.

The towels seemed clean, bathroom shower seemed clean, but the walls and mattresses, and floor and curtains - basically everything else was dirty or stained. Had to wear shoes/socks in the room - our socks after an hour were black on the bottom. Gross. AWFUL. You should not have this hotel on your website - it is so overpriced for filth. My ratings above would be negative numbers if I could. ...read more

The price was the best thing about this MOTEL.
Rooms need a ton of work. My room had a decent bed, a new TV, fridge, and microwave. Everything else was from the 70s and in ROUGH shape. I put a clean towel on the chair because it was so stained.....yuck! Breakfast looked yucky.

I knew the place was sketchy when I read the sign that MARIJUANA use was prohibited in the rooms.

The fresh waffles were excellent. The staff was very helpful.
There is no elevator so impaired people should ask for ground level.

There are a number of interesting restaurants within walking distance.

easy check in
looked like sheets were not changed, hair on pillows and on bathroom countertop. Room was not properly serviced after first night, front desk response was what do you want me to do! Had to ask for shampoo and soap, and clean coffee pot for next morning.

Not too bad considering the one star rating. Was better than camping out!

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful.
The physical state of the room. Stains on chair, pillows so flat - don't think you can call them pillows when they are so flat.

Besides the awful pillows and stains on furniture - guess it was okay...since all we did was sleep there and spent very little time in the room.
