Exterior was unkempt. It doesn't seems like anyone cares about doing the little things that would make it much nicer. We used to live in Bellingham, so the name attracted us to it, but not again . . .

Totally fine for an inexpensive place to crash.

Easy highway access for both directions. Many restaurants in easy walking distance, including a gas bar with small store. Located close to our destination made travelling there easy. Hotel reception accepted a parcel on our behalf a few days before we arrived - very helpful. We would likely stay here again when budget is a concern. There seemed to be no padding under any carpeting making noise and noise travel. If silence is important this isn't the hotel for you. ...

In looking for a cheap place to spend the night, this place is worth consideration.

This hotel is quaint and it is obvious that the staff try to maintain it but it needs some updating. Our room smelled horrible, there were cigarette burns in the bathroom floor, and the hot tub was cold. The staff were very friendly and there were several options for breakfast.
