Hotel Guest Reviews of the Beacon Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel's location is good, but no parking space, the overnight parking fee is $39. The room is a bit old, but the breakfast is good.

I like the access to the convention center.
The room was very small and bathroom space limited. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Th TV channels was limited and channels went in and out. The floor I was on was noisy in the evening. We had to pay for parking, internet, and breakfast at the hotel

Great location walking distance to metro at Farragut North and a further walk but manageable to Dupont Circle. There was free use of computers and printers in the business center.
It was like an old "Best Western". It was not very new especially the hallway carpeting and decor. The public spaces were very small. There was no free wifi even in the lobby. Even though I was on the 8th floor traffic was very noisy in the mornings.

It was not fancy, although the room was nice enough. There was no fresh coffee in the lobby, barely a lobby at all really, the front desk didn't have a nail file when I broke a nail, there was a lot of street noise even on the 8th floor in the morning and the hallways were kind of shabby. The bed wasn't great - a bit lumpy.

The location was awesome! Just a few blocks for the White House and a couple of blocks from Dupont Circle. The rooms were super clean and the staff was nice too.
The room was a little small and there wasn't any artwork on the walls, but thats being picky really. And WiFi at $12 a day was rather expensive.

The mirrors throughout the room
The long wait at the front desk, no blankets, long wait for blankets, long wait to answer the phone. Poor customer service and not a cleanly place. Front desk was dusty and dirty

Privacy, nice views, close to two Metro stops, Dupont Circle restaurant/bar district, great breakfast paces, hotel restaurant is very good.
My room was a little cool. Couldn't get the heat up.
