Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bayside Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel, a converted historic home was charming, the staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. It was within walking distance of the water. If not for the trains we would stay here again.
If not for how close it is to the train bridge and the frequency of trains we would have rated it far higher. Unfortunately this cannot be helped and there are noisy trains passing all night. If you don't mind the noise we would recommend it.

Close to the downtown core and harbour. Lovely little Inn, great room up in the top overlooking the train trestle, which I loved. Didn't mind the trains thru the night, sort of a comforting sound to me. Had the best ever spinach omelet for breakfast.

My room (#302) is a great room. Bed is very comfortable. the room has been recently renovated. Hotel employee and his staff are very good hosts. Breakfasts are homemade and very good.
The hotel is located very near a metal bridge with train tracks. Trains are long and frequent and it gets very noisy.

The hotel is close to the downtown area. There are good restaurants at walking distance. the parking is free.

Very quaint, bed and breakfast style. Very good value for money especially compared to other local hotels. Breakfast was also excellent and well priced.

Location
There was no staff at the front desk anytime. You have to call from a phone on the desk and the owner then comes out.

It's a good clean hotel, somewhat of a hybrid between a B&B and a hotel. It has a great location but is severely understaffed and parking is a problem too. I had to do street parking as all the spaces had filled up
