Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bahia Resort Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

- Great location, next to a beach park, and a private beach. Walking distance to Missing Blvd, 5min drive to SeaWorld. - Room is clean, studio has everything you need to cook and bake. Room size is decent.- On site seal pond and garden.
- Resort is dated (still clean, just a bit dated).- My room was facing the public beach park, and it appears legal to make bonfire on the beach, so can hear people chatting around the bonfire till late hours, and can smell the wood burning.

Large room with oven, stove, full size fridge, and microwave. Excellent location right off the bay. Very nice hotel and views.
I was charged $39 for a $21 buffet. The error was discovered by me days later and resolved. The internet barely worked, and Dish (Tv) was shoddy.

We liked the grounds and views from the room. The room itself was very spacious and well appointed.
The dead bolt lock on the door needed repair. It tended to bind when activated making it hard to open when leaving the room.

The kitchenette was an unexpected amenity. Hotel Staff were attentive to keeping facility tidy and grounds well manicured. Location ideal for quick access to all SD attractions. No extra charge for parking & wifi was a plus.
Interior decor has been updated, but hotel is a bit dated. Thankfully the Bahia has attended to maintenance, so wear/tear is not as obvious. The traffic flow in parking lot was inefficient & tight in places.

Gracie, the rescued sea lion, is a highlight. Would have liked more info. on access to tennis courts, shuffle board, sea craft rental.

Location and grounds were amazing!
The room smelled musty and moldy which gave me an allergic reaction.

All personnel was very polite & helpful. Resort is close to everything!
Internet was possible on my I-phone, but not my I-pad. Restaurant had same menu throughout the day and little variety. Different menus for the three main meals would be nice.

It's not flashy, or extremely modern, but the location is fantastic and the rooms are clean, comfortable size and have all the necessities. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. LOVED THE PRIVATE BEACH!
