Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bacon Mansion - Bed And Breakfast

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The other guy seems to be impatient to my friend.

Good location. But it's better to advise us how to get there from the airport . That could be a problem after we get off the plane.

Ambience and location

Lovely B and B. Large clean room, cool in the summer heat. Darryl was friendly and informative about the area, house, things to do. The coffee downstairs was much appreciated. My kids loved the big breakfast table and interaction with other guests. Unlike some reviewers I do not need a cooked breakfast and the fruit, yogurt and muffins were excellent. Trying to think of an excuse to go back to Seattle to stay at Bacon Mansion again! ...read more

Lovely home with warmth & charm. Fantastic neighborhood & accommodating staff. Breakfast muffins & fruit served in the morning was delicious and the coffee was the best you can find! Staying there just to have the coffee in the morning is wort
I only wish the bathroom we used had more character to match the home- Claw tub, etc. - it was too modern (1990s, early 2000s?). Early 1900s would have been more charming. I also would have loved some Protein other than yogurt surved with breakfast,

My reviews are in the sections above. Basically, I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home. I usually stay in a upper end hotel in Seattle and this discovery was a treat & a home I will visit again. On an evening down town hotels were booking for xxx, this room with tax was only xxx.

Very lovely and unique house. The owner is very friendly and breakfast was always delicious.
Street parking was very hard to find - we often circled the neighbourhood a few times to find a spot.

Very nice house, close to lots of great restaurants on Broadway. This would be excellent for someone without a car - the area is very walkable. In the winter, walking to downtown might be a little far but in the spring or summer it would be wonderful.

Lovely quiet location in the heart of Seattle. Personal service.
Not a thing.

Lovely old home in a quiet residential neighborhood, with a mix of antiques and modern furniture. Elegant, yet very welcoming and homey. Comfy bed and all the ammenties one could want in a room (we were in the Veneitian Room). Loved the old deep bathtub! Afternoon tea and cookies a nice touch. Good restaurants within an easy walk and short hop to get downtown. Breakfast of fresh fruit, cereal, juice and fresh muffins suited us fine. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had the house to ourselves but we understand it gets very busy in the spring and summer. Great value and very preferrable to a standard, impersonal hotel. ...read more
