Hotel Guest Reviews of the Atlantis - Paradise Island

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The best part of Atlantis is the beach and the water park. The cove beach is outstanding. Been going there for many years. Lazy river provides a nice break from the beach or pool.
Rooms are extremely tired. Many smell like mold. Not very clean as maid service is very poor. Hair in bathtub, leftover coffee in carafe. Not even full boxes of Kleenex. Just a few shoved into the box for decoration. Food quality poor- prices excessive.

Close to everything
Musty smell. No entertainment. Bar not open.

Lest letter for housekeeping to leave facecloths and was ignored as well as to leave coffee. Also that was ignored

This hotel had many different activities for all ages: water slides, casino, great restaurants, etc.

The staff was very conscientious and the hotel was clean. The outdoor spaces were beautiful.
The experience was overpriced, especially the meals. The rooms could not be cooled below 71 degrees, and sometimes did not feel as comfortable as we wanted. Make sure you are aware of the extra daily charges for wifi, a $48 per day utility fee, etc.

Easy access to the beach
in 20 + years of travel I have never had a Hotel charge me over $400 at check out to pay for separate "utilities" bill for use of electricity and water which were not included in the room fee that I was quoted, it is outrageous.

The staff
Extra charges i.e. Utility charges and gratuities for housecleaning This should be included in room fee. Also charging $50 per day for third person when room could accommodate four persons.

It was beautiful
They charge extra for EVERYTHING even though the room charge is already expensive!!! Possibly even charge extra for breathing! Meals, drinks etc were overpriced!

Will never ever stay there again and definitely will tell friends not to stay there !

Only game in town.
Staff was indifferent at best, contemptuous at worst. It was pretty clear that most of them only cared about getting a tip. Food/drink prices were OUTRAGEOUS.

beach and water are beautiful. staff was friendly and helpful.
no free wi-fi when you pay $15 a day for utilities charge as well as $5 for maid service and that PER PERSON! That was an extra $40 day that you didnt plan on plus another $21 for wi-fi service.

We stayed at the Beach Tower on 6th floor. Though it was "ocean" view we were basically overlooking the hotel next door and can pretty much hear all their activity from their pool. Beach tower was more peaceful area then the royal towers so we enjoyed that.
