Hotel Guest Reviews of the Aqua Palms And Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Helpful friendly staff. Nice view of De Russy park. Free internet.
Good view of the area, but we were above a very busy street, so we had some street noise. It was interesting to watch the flow of traffic and pedestrians. Luke warm water in the showers.

Very comfortable and easy access to do laundry on premises.

Excellent accommodation has its own parking, but there is a 25.00 fee which should be waived if you are staying more than one night.

There isn't anything significant to speak of, we did like the I-Hop was attached.
Paying $25 a day for parking.

Location to Waikiki and Ala Moana and a stop for the trolley.
Agent who checked us in could have given more information, such as the meal discount at the in-house IHOP. We paid full price for 2 meals before discovering the discout was available.

Taxi fares to and from airport and cruise port are reasonable. Distance to almost anywhere is reasonable. Concierge and tour advisor both available in foyer.

The location! 'Just a few blocks from Ala Moana Park and Shopping Center.
The hotel is "older" and in need of some renuvations.

Conveniently located on Ala Moana Blvd. this hotel is only a couple blocks away from the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Park. Rooms are OK given the star rating of the hotel, but it's an older hotel that could definitely use some "freshening up." 'Just a few words about the parking lot: the ramp to the parking lot is quite steep and the stalls are very narrow (save for a few marked stalls for oversized vehicles). They do provide guests with a healthy number of pillows. For someone who has a difficult time getting a good night's sleep even at home, I slept like a baby because the comfort of the bed and the number of pillows they provided. ...read more

Great location in the quieter "Marina" area of Waikiki
The furniture is quite tired and showing its age. There is major construction going on next door at a neighboring building. This means opening the lanai door useless during the day.

The Aqua Palms is a smaller boutique hotel in in the relatively quiet Marina area of Waikiki. It is within a short 10 minute walk to the beach, many restaurants, and plenty of shopping. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly small and the furnishings old, but the bed is comfy and the newly renovated bathroom is functional with plenty of water pressure. We had a microwave and small fridge in our room. The 3 elevators were efficient. There is a small outdoor pool and deck area on the 2nd floor. We really liked the Palms and would stay again. ...read more

The balcony was nice
$25 parking, the room size, the parking garage setup was terrible (you pay $25 a day and only get a parking spot if an unreserved stall is available).

Stand up shower was dirty. Everything else was standard at most. Rooms were tiny. Hotel is on main street. However, staying in waikiki area would have been worth the extra money. I don't see how this place averages an 8/10 guest rating.

Location was good across the street from Hilton hawaiian village. Away from the craziness of Waikiki but still close enough to get to when you want the nightlife/shopping/restaurants.
Little space to pull off to unload/check in.
