Hotel Guest Reviews of the Applegate Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The maid completelyforgot to put soap, shampoo, and coffee in our room. We were not provided with the wifi password, the pillows and bed were horribly uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin, and didn't get an ounce of sleep AT ALL on our overnight stay,

I wouldn't come close to recommending this hotel to anyone. Don't waste your money!!!!! And don't count on getting even a decent nights sleep here. Between the trains, motorcycles, and air conditioning vent in our room, no one in our room could sleep even for a minute. The maids forgot to supply our room with shampoo, soap, coffee, EVEN TOWELS! We kept having to go to the front desk to get everything, and they were still hesitant to provide them to us. Not to mention, the pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, and the beds were stiff. My WHOLE neck ached for two days straight. We finally gave up on getting any sleep, packed our stuff in about 10 minutes and rushed home, never to stay here EVER again. ...read more

close to gas station and restaurants and freeway entrances
very outdated

we stayed for one night and it wasnt bad at all. the staff was friendly but it smelled old and raunchy. We only stayed over night so it wasnt that important. Should we need to stay longer i would rather drive to merced.

My room was clean and had a sofa in it. the matress was satisfactory.
the swimming pool was not heated, also small for the number of rooms at this facility. there were 3 tables and six chairs for about 25 people. I heard other people complaining about their rooms. I would not stay at this place again.

Some rooms are ok and some are not. The train tracks are next to the building on one side and a very busy street on the other. The pool is not big enough to handle 25 people and there were maybe 150 the night I stayed. I will not be going to this place again.
