Hotel Guest Reviews of the Andaz San Diego

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It is right in the Gaslamp district, well maintained and the staf, especially Ben were friendly and professional.
The rooftop bar and pool were nice, but the pool was not heated enough and there were many homeless people nearby due to it being next door to a Salvation Army. Parking was also very excessive at $38 per day.

Great location and provided a free upgraded room to accommodate wife and daughter.
Drinks a little pricy but if you hit the Gaslamp area there are great happy hour specials all over.

Enjoyed the rooftop view of PETCO Park and the location was terrific.

Great location
The hotel would not accommodate us for the 3 of us. When we booked we put for 2 adults and a 16 yr old.. They have us a room with 1 queen and would not change us to a different room because that's what Priceline booked for. I had to sleep on the floor for

Geared more for couples with no children.

Location. Housekeeping staff were lovely.
Possibly Priceline users get a bad room. So small and hard to stay in for a long time. Staff didn't treat us very we'll.

Ideal for short stays. Solo or couples only due to the already heavily reviewed "open concept" bathroom.

Loved the room and the location - the rooftop is very beautiful as well.
Loved everything except the painter's white hallways- they just need to do something with those walls and they need to put up some towel hooks in the bathroom and the rooms need a bit more closet space.

Location is great. Ambience is great. Courtesy refreshments and snacks in room.
TV was above the couch. Essentially you're watching TV in bed if you care to watch tv at all.

Well kept. Staff was friendly overall. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Very hip and trendy atmosphere, the wine bar is a plus! Rooftop area, staff, and gym are awesome. Nice hotel, especially if you are attending something near the Gaslamp or Convention center.

The layout of the standard room is poor and dangerous. The bathroom is separated by a glass wall that is easy to walk into when the room is dark. Very little lighting in the room. I would not recommend staying in the standard rooms.
