Hotel Guest Reviews of the Anaco

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Old, run down.

This hotel has recently be upgraded as to windows, doors, bathrooms and some interior fixtures. The walls were in very poor shape, no pictures, some furniture had been removed leaving stains. The wood floor was in very poor shape with some missing boards with a small carpet cover over the damage. Parking was listed in the ad but it was in a public garage and cost 60 euros for 36 hours. ...read more

The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.
The view from the balcony could have been better.

The hotel itself was not bad. It was in the center of the city just 4 minutes away from Puerta del Sol and 5 minutes away from the Chueca district. Gran Via is just a short walk away. Plus, shops and restaurants are nearby and the metro is easily accessible. The only bad part is finding the place. I suggest to get off at Callao and walk five blocks up to reach Tres Cruces. Otherwise, the hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are cozy. The air conditioning doesn't work very well, but I did not mind it at all. All in all, I recommend the hotel. ...read more
