Hotel Guest Reviews of the An Island OasisOur hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. The hotel was EXACTLY what we expected. We read the reviews before we booked and we got exactly what we expected from reading the reviews. An old, Key West hotel. A very basic continental breakfast (just what we wanted...to get up, grab a bite and then be on our way). Older (but clean) sheets. Small room (perfect for us....didn't spend much time in it). There was a complaint about the air conditioner not working very well (ours was perfect...and I need a lot of cool air). Location, location, location. We parked our car when we arrived and never got back into it until we left. We were satisfied with everything!!! And we would return to this hotel. ...

The hotel has a cute patio to sit on and people watch. It is a traditional Key West hotel with rooms downstairs and up one level. They serve continental breakfast on the patio with their sister hotel across the street. The pool is very small, more like hot tub size so we never went in it. We did pretty good for storage considering it is really just a bedroom with a bathroom. The man who checked us in was very friendly and we only had one problem with the housekeeping when they came in our room when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. Our unit had a microwave and bar fridge and there was ice on the patio. I think it was good value for the price in Key West. ...

Had to register as a guest across the street at another branded motel - there were no,signs pointing this out... Had to ask another guest. Otherwise the rooms were of good size and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I would stay in this resort again. It was an older house that was renovated. You had a private bath. The room was spacious with a kitchenette, dining area, king sized bed and sitting area.

Great location if you just want a room with a bed and a private shower.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was not really a hotel in the portion we stayed in but a converted home and garage. We were there for New Years and the prices were very high but the quality of the accommodations were extremely low.The location was good, near the stone marking the furthers point south and next to the main tourist street with shopping, restaurants and bars. ...

Large, clean room in safe area. Actually I thought the whole island felt safe. My wife and I enjoyed reading the paper on the front porch with the complimentary breakfast and watching the world go by. Close to Duval Street. We had no problems walking the entire length of Duval and a moped rental place was just a block away as was a shuttle stop. Check in information (check in is across the street) is by the side door of the Island Oasis, not by the front door which took us a little bit to find, but not a big deal. Had a wonderful time. ...
