Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ameritania Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Comfy bed, excellent shower, great location for theatre and Central Park.
Hotel ran out of washcloths. Most likely the fault of their service, but nevertheless, an entire hotel had to use handtowels to bath.

New,old hotel. Rooms/bathrooms are newly decorated, modern and comfortable. Bathroom very clean with modern fixtures. Great midtown location. Staff is friendly and helpful.
There is nothing not to like about this hotel.

Newly decorated lobby, rooms and bathrooms make this hotel now feel like it is "Brand New". Located near theaters, restaurants,Central Park and all there is to see and do in NYC. One block from subway system. Very friendly staff always a "hello/have a good day."Try Applejacks Diner, one block from hotel for all your meals. Good food. Open 24/7.

Excellent location 1/2 way between time square and Central Park. The staff was very courteous in a town not known for service and friendliness I my opinion. I would recommend to anyone I know.

Great location, good price, helpful staff, furnished nicely. HVAC controls allowed us to keep room comfortable. Late checkout time was great.
Bed was too small for two people comfortably; shower was very modern with nice fixtures but with no door, we had to be careful not to get entire bathroom wet.

Great location within walking distance of theaters. Staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. Small room but reasonable price.

The hotel was located in close to Times Square.
I did not like that you had to pay for wi-fi. The hotel did not have many amenities.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

Centrally located, close to many must see sights
This hotel should have been rated no higher than a two stars, maybe even lower, how they got rated three stars is beyond me. The rooms are no bigger than 10x10, not even a chair or a table. They have the nerve to charge $13 for continental breakfast.

Rude attitude at the front desk, their attitude is like you need them they don't need you.
