Overall, I liked the hotel stay. Beside the floors, breakfast and hard beds. I loved the individual entryways of the cottage I stayed in and the property was nice.

The hotel is old and in need of update. The beds are terribly hard. Although the ambiance of the whole antique thing was fun, and quaint, the owner needs to realize the importance of this. The only reason we stayed was because of the staff. Poor guy had to not only manage the front desk, but clean the rooms as well.

Save a few bucks by staying here, but take the money you saved and walk down the street to the National Hotel. Their food and drinks were excellent!

Once we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk, and the only staff was the manager who spent most, if not all, of his time in his office. After waiting outside for a few minutes (the door was locked and we need to ring the bell), we were greeted, rudely, by the manager who does not seem to clearly understand English. In addition, he could not find our Priceline reservation, and took a quite a while to resolve the issue. The manager greeted people is really rude. Even though the hotel has its own parking lot, it was full by the time we arrived. Street parking is easy to find though. The hotel is located near a bar, and I was woken up because people were shouting at midnight, and then again at 2am.
In the next morning, I have several bug bite spots. I am not sure whether I got these during my stay or from our trip to Yosemite.
