Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn Casino Center Lake Tahoe

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was extremely kind. They upgraded us to a queen room from a double. When I could not call out from the room phone, the front desk person was kind enough to let us use his cell phone because my own cell phone had completely exhausted the battery.
The deck could have been more roomy. There was barely enough space to walk. The room phone didn't call out.

Not enough parking. Only 1 spot per room.

Friendly & helpful staff, comfy beds, nice shaded location close to town.
South Lake Tahoe is 22 winding, mountain miles from US395 (45 minutes), a great destination, but not a convenient overnight stop, rooms need updating & maintenance.

Rooms had everything one needs; outdoor spa pool was above average; continental breakfast was above average for value motel; great location near lake and casinos. Outward appearance of motel is not that of cheap motel.
First-floor room with king bed was well-appointed but small; just a path left for walking. Room was a bit musty with no openable windows. Towels were as Spartan as they come.

The staff was courteous and kind, and very helpful.
The room was disgusting and dirty marks every where and the walls had water damage and mold in the bathroom. Chairs in the room had blood stains and some other stains I don't wanna know what they were.

The staff was very nice, food was OK, the room was clean. We knew it was a 2 star rated hotel and that is what it is so there were no surprises. The bed was comfortable. Even though we didn't use or take advantage of it the room had refrig and microwave.
The room that we had was across the street from the main building where breakfast and coffee was and it was upstairs with no elevator, so if you have heavy bags or a bad knee it could be an issue. The hotel is old but it is clean and kept up.

I was sent to a room in a remote building. Traveling as a single female I did not feel safe.
