Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. ONLY the location.
Cleanliness, AC, Refrig, Noise, non working hot tub, analog TV only, iffy wifi.all in all, not worth anything more than maybe---per night. Would never stay there again.

The town of Grand Lake is awesome. Great lodging, restaurants and picturesque located on Western side of the Rocky Mtn Natl Park.

Close to Rocky National Mountain.
Wi-fi did not work. No staff at front desk. Coffee container at front desk always empty.

Would not recommend to anybody. Cheap hotel, no wi-fi, no bath soap,
TV too small, cheap furniture and ambiance. Nobody at front desk. No hot coffee in spite of having machine at front desk.

Comfortable.
Whirlpool hours and a bit small.

Was adequate for our purpose, we did not spend much time in room, would have loved to use whirlpool a bit later after a long day of hiking.

They had rooms available on a 2-day notice for a weekend; large room with fridge & microwave.
Overpriced, even for Grand Lake. No coffee in the room (but lobby coffee was decent).

This is a basic motel in a beautiful place. As do most motels like this, it lacks sufficient electric plugs and it really needs to add in-room coffee (most ABVI's have that). Our room was really spacious, which was nice and it's within a 3 to 4-block walk to most anything you want to see in Grand Lake. Price should be about $20/night less, then they'd stay full all the time. Also, for anyone with trouble walking, getting to a room can be difficult; you must go up a short slight incline but the large rocks used for landscaping make walking anywhere but via the two end walkways precarious. ...read more

rooms were clean, colored bedsheets, spacious rooms.
musty odor in room on entering, bathroom door does not lock, bathroom light connections need repair (on & off itself)

Overall, decent place to spend a night or two. Although I felt the price should have been lower for the time of the year and its location (no lake view).

No coffee until 8:00 am .

This was a dirty, smelly, unattractive room. The lady behind the desk was rude and very unhelpful when we asked questions about the town. We felt like she wanted to get rid of us. The whole experience with this motel was awful.
