Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Old No. 77 Hotel, A Provenance Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. The location was the best feature.
Waiting until 4:20 to be able to check in and being charged $50 more for getting an upgrade (2 beds).

The location of the hotel is centralized to many attractions. Doormen always nice.
The front desk was rude. We asked for a relatively quiet room. They put us in a room against the elevators; Every time the elevator moved it sounded like it was in the room with us, 100s of times up and down. Shower floor, sheets & walls were dirty.

The location was great. I was able to check in without any issues. King size bed/Organic Shampoo/conditioner. Great restaurant in the lobby. Biscuits and Jam definitely worth the visit. Canal street is walking distance.
Did not like the wristband policy at the hotel. Everyone was walking without one but I was told to have it on.

The staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and very helpful. I will go back but only to eat there.
The hotel room stayed hot even when we turned the air lower shut the curtain and turned on the fan and was EXTREMELY NOISY!

Quaint rooms, good location of tv, work desk, etc. nIcely updated.
Expensive food, but that's to be expected. No refrigerator.

Nice boutique hotel with great beds. The area can be a little loud, so be aware of the experience you are looking for over the weekends.
The only problem I had was that the ice machines on the second and third floor were out of order.
